□ 사업 내용
가. 연구 주제
ㅇ 2개 국가가 함께 참여하는 국가 간 협력기반 조성사업
나. 모집 규모 : 총 6팀 내외(연구팀 4인 및 지도교수 1인 구성)
※ 동일대학 소속 연구팀은 최대 2팀까지 선발
다. 모집 대상
ㅇ 연구팀(팀당 4인)
- 연구책임자(1인) : 국내 대학 소속 이공계 외국인 대학원생 및 졸업 후 2년 이내 석사후연구원·박사후연구원
※ 휴학생, 취업자 지원 불가, 지원 가능 비자 : D-2-3, D-2-4, F-2-7S, F-4, F-5, F-6
- 참여연구원(3인) : 내·외국인 이공계 학부생, 이공계 대학원생 및 졸업 후 2년 이내 석사후연구원·박사후연구원
※ 학부생은 최대 2명까지 구성 가능
ㅇ 지도교수(팀당 1인) : 국내 소재 4년제 대학의 이공계 학과소속 조교수 이상
※ 월 2회 이상 연구지도 및 자문, 연구환경 등 제공
라. 지원 내용
ㅇ 교육 : 한국의 R&D 체계 및 연구계획서 작성 관련 교육 제공
ㅇ 멘토링 : 관련 연구를 수행한 국내 연구진의 연구계획서 작성 지도
ㅇ 연구비 : 팀당 1,050만원 이내(4개월)

□ Project Purpose
o Providing international STEM researchers with the opportunity to lead mock research projects to foster a deeper understanding of
Korea's R&D environment and create meaningful incentives for long-term domestic settlement.
□ Project Details
A. Research Topic
o A bilateral cooperation-base project jointly involving two countries.
B. Number of Teams to Be Selected: Approximately 6 teams in total (each team consists of 4 research members and 1 faculty advisor)
※ No more than three teams from the same university may be selected.
C. Eligibility
o Research Team (4 members per team)
- Principal Investigator (1): A foreign graduate student in science or engineering at a Korean university, or a post-master’s /
postdoctoral researcher within two years of graduation
※ Restrictions: Students on leave of absence, employed individuals, undergraduate students, and
Korean nationals are not eligible to apply as a Principal Investigator.
※ Eligible Visa Types: D-2-3 (Master's Student), D-2-4 (Doctoral Student), F-2-7S (K-STAR / Post-Master's & Doctoral),
F-2 (Resident; excluding F-2-99), F-4 (Overseas Korean), F-5 (Permanent Resident), F-6 (Marriage Immigrant)
- Participating Researchers (3): Korean or foreign undergraduate students in science or engineering, graduate students in science or engineering, or post-master’s /
postdoctoral researchers within two years of graduation
※ Up to two undergraduate students may be included.
o Faculty Advisor (1 person per team): An assistant professor or above affiliated with a science or engineering department at a four-year university in Korea
※ Must provide research guidance and consultation at least twice per month, as well as research environment support, etc.
D. Support Details
ㅇ Training: Education on the national R&D system and on writing research proposals
ㅇ Mentoring: Guidance on proposal writing from Korean researchers with experience in related research
ㅇ Research Funding: Up to KRW 10.5 million per team (for 4 months)
