1. What is the purpose of this Group?
“A Global Research Collaboration Community for Integrated Upcycling and Material Recovery Technologies of Spent Lithium-Ion Batteries”
The Spent Battery Upcycling Innovation Club aims to build a global research network where researchers from diverse backgrounds can share the latest trends in battery recycling and material recovery technologies, exchange ideas, and develop collaborative research opportunities.
This community focuses on integrated upcycling strategies for battery components, promotes discussions on efficient and sustainable recycling processes, and supports the development of international collaborations, joint publications, and future R&D projects in the field of circular battery technologies.
2. Who is the group leader?
“I am a researcher focusing on waste resource recycling and upcycling technology innovation.”
I am a Chinese researcher who has been conducting research activities in Korea for approximately 16 years. I received my Ph.D. in Eco-Friendly Automotive Engineering from the Division of Mechanical Design Engineering at Jeonbuk National University in 2019 and currently serve as a Research Professor at Jeonbuk National University. I am also active as a national R&D project evaluation expert in Korea.
With research and industry experience at Kdac Automotive Research Center and LG Chem, along with TOPIK Level 6 and Korean professional qualifications, I have developed extensive experience in both academic and industrial environments. My research achievements include over 40 SCI publications and 4 registered patents, and I was recognized as an Outstanding Researcher by the Chinese Ministry of Education.
Through this group, I hope to connect researchers interested in spent battery recycling and circular economy technologies, share the latest research trends, and promote international collaborative research opportunities.
Affiliation/Position: Research Professor, Division of Mechanical Design Engineering, Jeonbuk National University
