1. What is the purpose of this Group?
The core xss-xss-xss-xss-xss-xss-xss-xss-xss-xss-xss-xss-xss-xss-xss-xss-objective of this meeting is to bring together foreign scientists and engineers in the ICT sector in 2026—as quantum computing technology enters its early commercialization stage—to conduct in-depth research on industry-specific quantum computing use cases and to explore opportunities for employment and tech startups within the domestic market.
Additionally, it serves as an "Intangible Know-how" platform designed to help foreign researchers integrate quickly and stably into Korea by enhancing their understanding of the working styles and communication cultures within Korean research institutions and corporations.
① Understanding the Quantum Computing Industry Ecosystem & Strengthening Employment/Startup Capabilities: We aim to bolster the practical employment and entrepreneurial capabilities of foreign researchers through the analysis of domestic and international quantum computing tech companies, government support programs, and the investment trends of major conglomerates and startups.
② Understanding Korean Corporate Culture & Integration Support:We will collectively discuss and seek practical solutions regarding Korean work styles, hierarchical structures, and communication cultures—areas that foreign researchers often find the most challenging.

Based on my expertise in quantum computing and tech startups, alongside my global work experience, I aim to help foreign scientists and engineers seamlessly integrate into Korea and advance their careers.

· Worked for over 20 years at a major internet company in Silicon Valley (Big Data and Search Engine domains)
· CEO of a Silicon Valley startup and Venture Capital Investor
· Former Senior Executive at one of the largest Korean conglomerate
· Current: Research Professor at Seoul Venture University; Chairperson of Technology Investment and Corporate Evaluation Committees for government and local authorities

· Silicon Valley: Led open-source development communities related to search engine and big data technologies

※ Motivation: Having personally experienced the challenges of settling back in Korea after living overseas for over 20 years, I deeply understand the difficulties faced by foreign scientists and engineers working here. Through this program, I aim to actively support foreign researchers so they can more easily settle in and advance their careers within the domestic market.
